Yes that's the shot of Mars, unfortunately it is about the same size as the earth unlike the gas giants of the other planets and the camera's not really designed to be a telescope though the Leica 504mm focal length lens does help.

I actually had to use 1/10 sec shutter priority mode for this shot, otherwise all you get is an over-exposed bright red dot.
