Hi everyone,

Well - a major marathon processing session from Noel (lots of blood sweat and tears, plus a lack of sleep) has produced the Summer 2007 mega-project.



The Parker/Carboni deep-sky imaging factory present to you the whole of the Veil nebula in Cygnus - a beautiful supernova remnant. The field of view on this one is approximately 3.5 by 3 degrees, with a total exposure time of 32 hours and a similar amount of image processing time.

What a fantastic shot, again. Love your astro-efforts. May i ask how many hours you put into this every day?

Im kind of curious how that image would look if the stars (somehow) was reduced to some moderate degree.
