Moth head 2-frame photomicromosaic by cybermystic, on Flickr

Dead moth on the study mantelpiece this morning. Nothing goes to waste at the New Forest Observatory. Popped him under the microscope and took a 2-frame Helicon Focus-stacked photomicromosaic. Magnification x40. 30 frames in one stack, 40 frames in the other. Canon 5D MkII manual settings, trinocular research microscope.
