Dragonfly eye 3-framer focus-stacked by
cybermystic, on Flickr
Cat caught a Dragonfly so I brought it indoors to photograph under the microscope. This is the eye region made up from 3 focus-stacked frames (Helicon Focus) stitched together using the Photomerge feature in Photoshop. Each focus-stacked frame is around 50 images.
