I am looking for new ideas for subjects that will look interesting when taken using high speed flash gear (1/100,000th second - so it will stop most stuff). The link below will show you subjects that have been imaged millions of times before and are now, to be frank, boring with their repetivity. How about some fresh new ideas for HSF? The only constraint I would add is that it needs to be carried out in a darkened studio rather than outdoors where the ambient light makes life difficult. Over to you guys

Well I actually have an idea that I don't think it has been done before because it might be a little dangerous, but i don't know. My idea is that you shoot a small firework just in the moment it explodes, it might work, it might not, but I think it's worth a shot if you can manage to shoot it somehow that's safe, because a firework could cause some issues, especially on a studio. Hope my idea's not too crazy, but it crossed my mind and I was like, "Oh why not?".

Thank you for your suggestion - the problem with fireworks is that they provide their own illumination
