The Perseids may be wrapping up, but I'm there are some great shots out there. And, being of the mind that I'd love to see what they look like and what with having so many talented photographers posting on these boards...let's seem them!
I'll go first. I ended up with what felt like a lot of better shots of the milky way and star trails than pictures of the Perseids (despite going out with the intent of capturing the Perseids), but a few meteors showed up at least enough to pick them out. The photo below was taken at the Wild Horses National Monument overlooking the Columbia River in Washington. I felt like the bridge and the cars added a little structure compared to some I took facing the other direction, and the meteor itself (if you're having trouble picking it out) is up towards the top right.
Perseid Above the ColumbiaBy the by, this was one where I was really hoping you'd be able to see the shower, but it was not to be.
