Camera Labs

Hi all,
Was hoping someone could help me out here. I took a photo tonight and it has a purple light in it, while it looks cool and all.. Does anyone know how it would of come to be on there? I'm far from thinking UFO (kinda ), but would love any ideas on how I got it? Hoping to do more like it if I can work out how I did it LOL. Only new to taking photos so no where near as awesome as all of you, but having fun at the same time!
The only lighting around at the time was the neighbours back door light..

It looks like lens flare, probably coming from the light you mentioned.
