This is a Hyperstar III 4-framer of the region around Caph in Cassiopeia. Each frame is a 1-hour exposure (40 x 90-seconds) at f#2. Caph as you will know is in the Milky Way, so I was expecting a nice Milky Way backdrop and was amazed to find so much dust in the region - you can see some "Coalsack" areas where the stars are completely missing!! Also there's some extras I wasn't expecting at all. At the 7 O'clock position from Caph you will see vdB1 and HH161 (I wondered at first whether vdB1 was lens flare from Caph) identified by Anna - thank you Anna - and move over to the left from Caph and there's a little golden patch which is IC10 a dwarf irregular galaxy. Towards top right I have just caught a bit of emission nebulosity from something (don't know what) - can anyone identify it? All in all a very busy region with plenty going on. Field of view is 4.26 x 2.8 degrees.
