O.K. so unfortunately I didn't have a full set of frames in the Markarian Chain region to create the mosaic I thought I had - but here's a B&W version of a three-frame Hyperstar III mosaic with M87 nearest the centre. Data acquired April 2010 each frame approximately 3-hours total using 5-minute sub-exposures at f#2.

I take pictures so quickly, my highschool was "Continuous High".

Funnily enough I am planning on doing a project very similar to that one This coming spring I will pick a spot in the Ursa Major square and take a shed load of very deep subs with the Hyperstar just to see how deep this thing can go.
