As I have been ploughing my way through all this old Hyperstar III data it quickly became clear that I'm going to be quite a few frames short of a full deck - or somesuch. I think that's why this went on the backburner (and I forgot all about it) I obviously wanted to get the rest of the frames in Spring 2011 and I didn't get the weather to finish the job off - no Virgo galaxy work carried out last Spring, in fact very little imaging done at all at that time.

I will put together a 2-frame mosaic around this M100 shot, and see how big a region I can crop out around M87 which has something like 5 Hyperstar III frames taken in the area. So, if I get clear skies this Spring do I use the Hyperstar III time to try and get the rest of the frames for this mega-mosaic project, or do I simply fire up the mini-WASP and do the whole area and a bit more in 6 mini-WASP runs? I'll probably end up trying both (if the sky allows!)
