I wonder how much time is left before I discover why I need a meridian flip. The guidecam is getting ever closer to a tripod leg... will give it another 10 mins or so then close on the veil I think. I'll try some colour subs of andromeda before I have a go at the bubble. Moon is up, and I'm getting an itch to have a go at Jupiter too, but I've been sleep deprived all week and bed doesn't feel like such a bad idea either... but must make use of this sky while it lasts!

Going back to old errors again. Must remember to put kit out to cool down early if there's a chance I'll be imaging. As such I'll have to check tonight's data for focus shift now... and re-adjust if needed. I also wasted possibly 30 mins setting up as I started late too, although it might not be that bad since the night does seem to get progressively clearer anyway.
