How many stars can you see when you look in the region under the handle of The Plough/Big Dipper? Chances are only one - this one - Cor Caroli in the constellation Canes Venatici. North is to the right. Image processed by Noel Carboni and photons grabbed by Greg Parker. 47 sub exposures at 200 seconds per sub. Sky 90 and M25C camera.
