Any skywatcher with a DS tag is made for astrophotography with a DSLR, but you dont you have to get one with such a tag - just be wary of this thing called inward travel. The biggest thing I can advise on is that its the mount that will make the most difference - the sturdier the better.
With your budget you could possibly get the skywatcher 130M:
In order to connect your DSLR you will need a canon fit T ring and T adapter
With this setup though you will be limited to small subs but it will certainly give you a decent scope for observing and allow you to see if you want to really get into astrophotography. Be warned though if you do its a slippery slope
