Well i tried to take some moon shots tonight as the sky is clear as my first i dont think they are to bad but any help and info would great
i shot these with my canon 400d sigma 70-300mm lens at 300mm 1/125 at f32



This one i altered the WB to tungston light to get the blue moon effect

Any reason for picking f/32? That's reducing the light and causing softening from diffraction. Try in the range f/8-f/11, which will allow you to drop the ISO and help retain a bit more information there too.

Yeah tried f8 and f11 but their was to much light, i did up mu shutter speed but not enough it seems, i will try again tonight, or not as their is no moon out tonight , as soon as i can take some more pics i will post them thanks for the info and help popo

I suggest f/11 and 1/80 - 1/125 with ISO 100 when its full Moon. If you still feel that its over exposing the image then use the EV to reduce the brightness and check it out..
