Anyway - here is a shadow self-portrait taken over the New Forest today (Sunday 3rd January 2010) at around mid-day. Shows how low the winter Sun is around this time of the year.

Hehe, that is a funny picture Greg. Still the legs are way too long compared to the rest of the body. So I would guess hat the shape of the ground also plays is a factor – still it is a funny shot, thx for sharing

Yep - there is a distortion aspect in the photo as I have pointed the camera straight down (to get the toes of my boots in the shot) as well as panned forwards to get my head and the horizon in view
