I closed the shutter on a beer-can pinhole camera today that I opened on 7th September 2009. This is looking towards my southern horizon so we can see the Sun getting lower and lower in the sky (it will be at its lowest on December 21st when I shall put out another 4 pinhole cameras).
It took me a good ten minutes to work out what the object is middle/bottom - it is in fact the New Forest Observatory (fibreglass dome) and the bright bits are the hinges/locks on the door. The bright bit on the top might be where I turn the light on in the evening when I'm out there working.
Not bad for a first effort but will try to do a lot better next time.
