Hi all
While browsing in my picture folder to clean it a bit , I stumbled upon a batch of shots I didn't process , taken back in september. All of those were shot with the EF 17-85 IS kit lens at 17mm , ISO 3200 with an exposure time of 15 sec , and the final image is the result of 10 images stacked.

Soft processing

Bigger version here.

A bit harder processing , where banding from noise can be seen on the right side of the picture

Hope you like :)

I like it :) And still hope to get my own of this some day.

What's the glow in the lower right corner? It that really out there, or is it light pollution or moon glare for example?

Thanks :)

And yeah, it's the light pollution from the city just 4 km away from my home. As long as I shoot toward the East - South - South-West quadrant , I'm good ;)

I like it! What did you use for stacking and processing? :)

I used Iris software for aligning and stacking , then Photoshop for Luminosity/Contrast , RGB curve and cropping :) No sharpening of any sort was applied to this picture ;)
