.... having just cleared up all the mess in the garage - here's a 2-egg omelette. I don't plan on doing any more egg work, it's just too messy.

How many eggs did you break in the process?
I really like the outcome.

I really did only break the three eggs in total - the secret as they say is all in the preparation. I really didn't want to use up loads of eggs for this shot - I was born in 1954 so I had a ration card and I still feel a bit bad about playing around with food :D

So - I triple checked the focus of the camera, clapped my hands to set off the flashes a few times, triple checked the alignment of the rifle, and tested the bulb setting on the electronic shutter switch a couple of times all before taking the shot. All the preparation seems to have paid off in no wasted eggs :D :D

Very nice. Always a great to see things exploding.

And for the mess, couldn't you just put some trash bags or newspapers on the ground for easy clean up? Or do these eggs make a lot more mess than I can imagine?

Trash bags on the ground, cling film over the flash units - still managed to get all over the place  Won't be doing much more of this egg-stuff unless commissioned :D Just too messy.
