Before packing up for the day I had to do the light bulb shot with a bigger field of view - here it is :D

Taken with the 40D????

Anyway, what an amazing shot, at a guess did you use an air rifle to break the glass? What sort of lighting did you use??

Yep taken with the 40D and 17-55mm lens at f#25, ISO100, open flash technique. There were three "Ultra" flashes used [ http://www.highspeedflash.com ] and these kick out 9 microsecond pulses of light which stop just about anything (apart from maybe bullets). Light bulb was broken using an air rifle pellet.

Coloured liquid and ballons,soft tomatoes might be neat :wink:

Thank you kpr. The short review is done and posted. Thank you for the ideas, you will see some balloon shots on my Flickr site. What I am after are interesting subjects that haven't been done a million times before - it seems that good (new) subject ideas in HSF are the main limiting factor.
