Camera Labs

Well, today we had the local airshow featuring the Snowbirds over clover point. I took over 300 pictures in the 30 minutes the show lasted and most turned out half decent, more than i was expecting.

I like them. A lot. Especially the first, the third and the last.
Some of them seems a bit too overexposed. Kinda looks like a model plane in a studio

yea, i was experimenting quite a bit with the camera as i have never really taken any action shots as of yet, So i was playing with the EV comp to see what different results i could get. the better exposed pictures were shot between +1.3 and +2.3EV depending on the background. The over exposed white backgrounds were +3 i think.

The third one is definitely the winner!!! Well done with that one. The rest are a bit overexposed due to the bright clouds.

I also got a couple shots that werent' over exposed but there wasnt too much detail in the planes but... I would have liked to have framed this one a bit lower but they were flying over us about 150ft in the air at 200mph so it was really hard to judge where they would be.

Nice shots! Using AF-C I suppose? And matrix metering?

I love the snowbirds. Always a treat to watch them fly. Nice pictures.
