I was lucky enough to catch this nostalgic hydroplane powered by a V12 Rolls Royce Merlin engine..these older boats definately have a personality all of their own

I don't know what the top speed of this boat is..on sunday when this shot was taken it was having fuel pressure problems and just limped home..

Don't think so.... the Harrier has a Jet Engine, in the boat that is clearly a piston engine and I believe used to be fitted in "Spitfires"

I actually thought from the subject of your post I was going to be viewing the graceful lines of a spit but when I saw the boat I was surprised. It kinda reminds me of the boat out of the "Great Race". Great shot BTW love it.
