I am going to Go- kart ring over week end, with a group from work. Taking my snappy - Sony Cyber - Shot.

This is a dark inside location but carts are fast 30+ mph and all very colorful. I would welcome comments on camera settings / shots or anybody'e experience.

Thanks :?:

hey robinhood

if the karts are going that fast you will need high shutter speed but that will make it darker so use flash
but it just all depends how dark it will be
if its a nice day you could probly get away with no flash

have a nice day anyway

If it's indoors, dark and your subjects are moving quickly, any compact will struggle. A large number of DSLRs would do too if they don't have suitable lenses equipped. Noise in your photos will be an issue, as well as the auto-focusing hunting a little.
