Hi folks,

The article Super Bowl XLII: The Ultimate Shoot-out over at PopPhoto.com talks about the practical difficulties of covering the Superbowl. Quite a bit about equipment used and particularly about the difficulties of dealing with so much data (15MB per shot, 10 fps  ). And my biggest worry would have been keeping out of the way of those wide-receivers as they get shoved out of bounds!

Bob.

for me getting into college football (american football) games is extremely hard, unless if your from ESPN or a huge company, its about impossible, super bowl, haha no luck. =[ I am sure the WFT-E3 will come into play very nicely for this. thanks for the link.

Hi folks,

Rather than start a new thread I thought I would reuse this one to point out the article Reuters Teams Up With Canon U.S.A. and Sprint To Move Wire Images Of Shuttle Launches Moments After Launch which describes how"use of Multiple Remote Cameras Placed Around Shuttle Launch Reduce Time of Photo Delivery to Reuters Wire by 95 Percent".
