So out of the blue I got called by a lady who worked for the Special Olympics Africa, and last minute, got asked to shoot africa countries for them. So I did. Had my D700, D80, 24-70, 70-300,70-200, and sb-900 with me. I didn't use the D80 at all, and used the 70-300 for a few shots till i realised the added reach really didn't help that much. For the indoor shots I kept my shutter speed around the 1/640th mark, aperture priority, +1/3rd ev. Iso's were between 3200 and 6400 at f2.8. AF settings for the most part were 21 pt dynamic af, Continuous, 5fps. I started out shooting in RAW, then realised how many shots I was taking, and that I wasn't prepared to sit for hours and process all of them after, so I just shot in jpeg, and made sure to overexpose rather than under for the indoor sports, and that was that. Overall, quite enjoyed it
All the above shots are SOC, so no added pp, shot in jpeg. The following shots have been through some contrast;
