hey all,
this is my 1st attempt at panning.. just a random cyclist in front of the house... just wanted to know if my technique is ok..

I think that your technique is fine but the composition is not so good as I think that it would have been alot better if you had the whole bike in the shot but otherwise a great shot... hope this helps :wink:

Not bad for a first go, although what settings were you using, as you might want to use continous AF, and then the guy on the bike might of been sharper, although sometimes it's just pot luck with continous AF!

thanks for your comments .... it was a big inspiration.....
the AF settings were ONE shot AF which i realised just now.. will try the next time with continous AF
