New too photography, always an interest so finally brought a Sony A300 an went shooting, this was 2nd time using it...

Here are some of the images from a practice day before the event...

NOTE: this is before i new anything about any of the settings lol i was just playing around.

nice shots. and nice timing.

the main thing i would recommend is to use a faster shutter speed, but that could be hard as it looked like a dark day (overcast).

with a bit of post processing in Lightroom or photoshop (or GIMP), these images could really pop.
