After getting some inspiration by Nostrum, I've tried myself some action shots.

Nice shots! I'd cut them a little more tightly or on the long ends, more like 4/3rd ratio.

and they lack a bit of impact purely because they're so small here - I think you should post them at a little larger size (something like 800*600) :)

I dont know a lot about action photography, but i sure enjoy going to the skate park to grind and skate some, and usually my camera comes a long.

I think your shots could benefit from underexposing the background and having a correctly exposed subject, now the only way of doing this by using a fill flash, here is an example of what i m talking about
