Ok.. so let me start off by saying that the circumstances i shot under were pretty bad..... they were :

Bad lighting and no flash allowed during the fight.....not to mention being pinned to one corner with the lights shining down at me.

I had to shoot with the following settings to get the best results:
F 2.8 - 1/250 - ISO 1000

Here are a few :

The Anthems

The Fighters

The rest are here for now : http://s270.photobucket.com/albums/jj11 ... Peel%20II/

I have to upload them to my site and Flikr when i get a chance....

You have very nice photos here.

I love the 10th, there are some details to check, but I think they are very decent shots. Did you try some of them in B&W?

Cheers

I remember you asking which material you should bring with you...
Dude... after seeing those pictures, WE should ask YOU questions!! :D
You got some REALLY amazing moments there! I'm very impressed!
Great color! Great contrast! Impression of movement on some.... action freezing on others...

For the boxing my favorite's gotta be this one:

It gives me an "Ouch!" sensation

NOw.. about the girls... well.. I loved them all!
Did you get any phone numbers with your photos?? 8)

By the way... which camera(s) did you take with you in the end?

I actually brought the following:

D90 w/ Sigma 28-70 EX 2.8

D2x w NIKKOR 50mm 1.8

all the action shots were shot with the D90 .... cause i needed ISO 1000....

i have other pics of the boxers in their corners and i used the D2x and an Sb600 as i could use it in the ring between rounds.....
