Thinking of buying Lumix DMC LF1. Coming from Canon S100 which I liked a lot - lense stuck due to damage. All Panasonic features seem very attractive but a bit concerned about two things. Review (Gordon Liang Juily 2013) Sample images don't seem as vibrant in colour as the Canon produces. Does the LF1 create a less contast - flatter colour spectrum than Canon compacts. Also my eyes are poor and the screen shots of the Panasonic's TFT screen seem to show quite small and perhaps hard to read icons and text. Is the Canon's (lower res 460k) screen easier to read? Also would the small viewfinder be especially difficult to use if one's sight was not the best? - hard to answer I know. Perhaps there is someone near 70yo out there with experience of both cameras that can comment.

FYI duplicate threads/posts are frowned upon. I replied to your post in the Panasonic section since your question seems more focused on the LF1 as it compares to the S100.
