 Post subject: SX50HS superseded by?

I thought Canon were about to release (before Xmas) a new bridge super zoom to supersede the SX50HS, am I wrong?

Any guess on Canon's releases is just that; a guess.
Unless Canon has announced they will release something, no one really knows. Some people may be better at guessing than others.

Also, there are times were something is delayed for whatever reason. So even Canon (or Nikon, Sony, etc.) can be off on dates.
