I came across some information that some Canon cameras can be modified to use Dual ISO to increase sensativity to up to 14 stops. Here's one link:

I think they're talking about the Canon EOS 5D Mark II as a firmware upgrade.

However, if you could take two images at different ISOs (i.e. 100 and 1600), would there be a way to combine them in a HDR way?

I'm just wondering.
