The Targus TG-DL20C flash for Canon EX cameras is priced as low as $50 (Target.com is $59.99 w/free shipping). It seems fairly cost effective, especially for me after completely draining my photography budget on my Canon Rebel T4i w/3 lenses (see signature below). My existing Speedlite 199A is no better than a dumb strobe. My wishlist Speedlite 430EX II is three times that price at $255.

I haven't found a decent review. Even after reading the Targus spec page, I couldn't find much more. What I've learned is it's guide number is 59 feet at 100 ISO. However, even Targus doesn't list my camera (T4i) as compatible:

It has a tilt head for bouncing off ceilings. I'm sure it doesn't have wireless support.

Does anyone have experience with this budget flash and do you know if it's compatible with the Rebel T4i?
