Just read that the Canon 35 f/2 IS will ship with a lens hood and pouch.

With the end of the world approaching on December 21st, Canon has finally decided to include a lens hood with a non-L lens...Well played Canon...Well Played

It's a good start though I won't commend them for doing they could and probably should have started doing years ago.

yep did the same. Still a great lens.

using it on a T2i is taking some getting used to ! having to move the ole feet a little !

could see it being awesome on a full frame.

Some areas apparently offer an option to get lens hoods and pouches with the purchase of their non-L Canon lens.
I am not sure which region of Canon's distribution is lucky enough to get it, but I do wish they included it more often.
