Hello guys,

Id like to know if you connect a 500d thru its mini hdmi out (using a standard hdmi cable with a mini to standard hdmi adapter on the cable end that plugs into the cam), how does it work ?

Has anyone tried this, and if yes does the video play out in full hd on the lcd screen or in a small windowed format.

Whats the correct way to relay the full HD signal to a large screen. This is for a live event where i need to show a performers face upclose on a large screen. I dont need the cam to be recording during this action.

The HDMI sockets usually mirror whatever is on the screen, so that is exactly what you see on the screen if you were using it usually. I haven't actually tried it yet, there is only one HD screen in the building at the moment.
