There's something quirky and fun about this camera. I'm actually looking forward to my lunch break so I can take it out for a photowalk around the business park. I love the hotshoe... I wonder if I can find a flash if I dig further!
Considering my iPhone has 1 more megapixel than this bad boy... let's see what this fixed 7-21mm zoom can do! Pic's in a few hours. :)

Best regards,

In our fire department we had a Powershot G1 until this year. 2006 or 2007 we added an EOS 30D but after somebody had killed the CF card slot the G1 was the main camera again for a while. It felt just very interesting. Articulated screen, very small and thick, a "3.3MP" (the .jpg-files have a 3.15MP resolution) sensor. Slow, not too impressive ISO performance but the sharpness is OK.
I wonder what happened to it? Some months ago the 30D got back to work and since then I haven't seen the G1 any more. I hope they didn't throw it away :D
