I think it's great.

I have a 550D for almost a year and would love to be able to produce something like this.

Obviously you are an experienced filmmaker if you have a dolly system but if you could give me some basic pointers or post some links I'd be grateful.

You are using manual focus I guess which can't be easy on the little ring on the 50mm 1.8. Editing software, would iMovie do the trick.

Also what aperture, and I assume this is all manual?
