Not really sure where to put this, so off topic here we go
I'm gonna need a new lens soon but im not really sure about the zoom range im gonna need. The 2 Options im thinking of is:
1. 17-70mm + 70-300mm
2. 18-200mm

The first options is without doubt the best lenses. But the 18-200 mm would be nice since it would be a really great all around lens.
Main priority is travel photography and sports/action photos. Which would you chose? Or maybe someone has a 3rd idea. Im not looking for specifik lenses (yet), just a lens combo that would cover my needs in the best possible way, also considering size, wheight and prize.

My Tamron AF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD macro 1:2 (180-300mm)
Does a good job as my all around lens. the shots are sharp (wether permiting ) It is not heavy at 16.2oz. alot of my shots are hand held so my next lens will be the canon 17-85mm IS ($305-$650 USD)
