hi. my little brother would like to buy the s3 IS since im getting the 400d(BTW, thanks for the help :D) Im wondering if the s3IS also has continuous shooting like the one found the the 400D (the one where you just hold down the shutter button and the camera takes pictures and will only stop[ when you release the button.) ?

-Yeochinh :D

Hi Yeochinh, I've moved this to the Canon forum.

According to Canon's specs on their website, the S3IS offers two continuous shooting modes:

High Speed at approx. 2.3 fps with LCD monitor off (until memory card becomes full)

Normal at approx. 1.5 fps (until memory card becomes full)

Your 400D shoots at 3fps in bursts up to around 27 frames.
