Thanks for the advice steve, pleanty to think about there :)

Just been into town and came across these Bolivian buskers in the street. Used flash on all of them and kept things pretty much auto. Just trying out the 40D

Nice photos! But Bolivian? They kinda looked like Native Americans to me

Gordon - to be honest, I thought the same. Apparently they come from La Paz, but live in London, and return to Bolivia on a regular basis.

I took maybe 100 shots of them and they asked if I would send them a CD of everything I took, so tomorrow I will take a closer look at the card and send them anything that's half decent. I shot everything in RAW + jpg fine, but still getting used to the camera and constantly being amazed at how good comepetent photographers are. Still photography isn't easy - that's for sure.

Those photo's were copies of the jpg's - resized down for flckr. Too many were soft and not too the quality I want -but maybe in time....

Just found a local camera club thats meets on a monday night, so that's where I'll be in 48 hrs. :)
So much to learn......
Phil

Hey Phil, if you're going to a club, be sure to tell the members about Cameralabs!
