For a first post yours certainly had the virtue of brevity (which all too often mine fail on). You aren't connected with Rob Galbraith's site are you?

The fix for the 1D3 AF issue has also been confirmed on the Northlight Images site where, additionally, there are details of the U.S. rebate scheme due to run until January 13th 2008.
