Bob,

How are you liking your new camera? Now that you have had it for a little while, is there any sort of "buyers remorse"? I am getting ready to purchase the kit here in the US which comes with the body and the 28-135 lens (if I remeber correctly). Has anyone had any experiece with that lens? This will be my first DSLR and currently have very little experience with lenses.

Thanks,

~Brandon

No remorse at all: it's a superb tool. As Gordon noted in his 40D Review, it is curious that Canon in America have opted for the EF 28-135mm IS USM as the kit lens rather than the new EF-S 18-55mm IS or the popular EF-S 17-85mm IS USM. Whichever lens you choose I am sure you will love the camera. 8)

Bob.
