Anybody know, how it compares to the slightly more expensive Canon 100mm Macro?
Cheers
From the verdict of the review over at
www.photozone.de:
"The Sigma AF 105mm f/2.8 EX macro DG is an excellent lens without any significant flaw. It's optically as good as the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM macro. The lens has a very good build quality though not quite as nice as the Canon due to its focus extension system and the conventional AF drive. However, the price tag is also lower so if you're on a budget the lens is certainly worth a deep thought (as is the Tamron AF 90mm f/2.8 SP). "
