Yep, that's the super-bigma!

It'll be interesting to see how many of these Sigma sells... If I do a video tour, I'll need to stand back a bit from the camera!

Well I sure will put a request in to review it, but suspect it may be a special order only!

I cannot imagine anybody carrying this around, what could you use it for?

Can I assume it does not have a plastic lens mount?

Dave

Forgot to add a man I hike with has the 800mm SigMonster.

Owning lens like that means never needing to go to the Gym!

The tripod needed to suport that lens itself weights more than my complete kit!

On top of all that, he was happy he foiund the lens at a bargin price, just a little under 7k I belive!!

Dave How I love my canon 50mm 1.8II :P

"Would you like a camera with you lens sir?" hehe. Wouldn't be surprised if they didn't bundle one in a well :P

Lol, I saw an ad for the Leaf Aptus digital back and it said "Free Mamiya" so I wouldn't be surprised if this lens came with a free body.

Wow
I think before they sell you one - you must prove to them you are able to carry one all by yourselves !
So I declare myself out of the potential buyers !

Must be some disclaimer in the sale as well that you can't sue them for any injuries from using it !!

Look at this and this too

It will not make you a good photographer, but it will certainly make you a STRONGER photographer!

Lens cap?! I would guess this one will have center pinch like tamron otherwise youll need two hands to pinch from both sides
