I saw one of these used in a local camera shop, so since I was passing I dropped in to check it out on the 5D2. I didn't give it any detailed testing, and only tried it at 24mm from f/2.8 to f/8 and 135mm f/4.5-5.6.
At 24mm, f/2.8 is quite soft, getting progressively sharper to f/8 where it was decent. At 135mm, again it's a bit soft at f/4.5 and gets a bit better at f/5.6.
Since the sample had a slight focus offset on my body, I used manual focus in magnified live view and didn't check out the focus speed.
At just under £150 used I think it was ok value if you want a budget lens for a full frame camera. Perhaps better suited to an older, lower MP count model. I decided to pass on it though, and will aim for something a bit nicer later.
