 Post subject: Macro filters
PostPosted: Mon Aug 15, 2011 12:31 pm
hi, Im looking for a true macro lens for my sony. But at this moment and probably in the first year I won't have the money to buy one. So after reading some about macro filters I thought I would give it a try.

So I was wondering if you could give me some advise. I want to make pictures of insects, so I need some working space. I want a macro filter for my tamron 70-300 or/and my 18-55 sam. Do you advise me to by one with a high diopter, 10 for instance? or should I go for less, because the minimal focus distance will be to short and there is no space between the subject and my lens.

And do you have some experience with some filters, would you advice me a specific brand?
