Hey all,

I've just got a quick question about this tele. I'm confused as to what the "macro" means. Is this lens only suitable for macro work or could it be used for distance shooting? Just looking for some clairifaction/explaniation on this. Thanks.

They're pulling a cheeky one on this one.

The lens is really to be used at what you call distance shooting. Even true macro lenses can be used at distance.

However they have presumably been able to make it focus fairly close so they call it macro for a bit of sales jargon. It'll be nowhere near as good (focus as close) as a true macro lens.
