I have a Nikon D60 and I want to get into macro. Looking at the Nikon lenses, I think they are to expensive for me. I'm leaning towards a Sigma. How will my quality suffer, and what are the down falls to using a Sigma?

Which Sigma would be best and will auto focus for me?

Thanks for the help, Nick.

Hello Nick,

the Sigma AF 150mm 2.8 EX DG APO HSM IF is the best of Sigma's macro line-up and will AF on your D60. I have a copy of this beautiful lens, you can read my review here. :D
It also doubles as a large aperture medium tele lens. :)

The only draw-back: no image stabilization like with the micro Nikkor 105/2.8 VR :(

As you have a Nikon DSLR I would get a Micro Nikkor...The 200mm f4 IF AIS is excellent and is cheap to buy...I use it on my Sigma SD10 and SD14 DSLR's.
