I've seen it, tried it in the shop, could buy it. It's available, in Canberra, Australia, at least. Price: AUD$750. Feels like the quality build is quite good, quick auto-focusing. I tried it on a Nikon D40X, and the retailer said they also had it with a Canon mount in stock.
The retailer is Ted's - if you're interested - but you won't find it on their online catalog yet. The saleswoman told me they just got it.

Yikes...Just read the review for the sigma AF 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS here:

I kinda considered this lens for the Nikon D40X or Canon 400D. Not anymore though...Not a stellar review, I'm afraid.
