We purchased this lens 2 weeks ago and we had to send it back as the autofocus would not work all we got was a grinding noise when the shutter button was half pressed, but we used it for a week manually focusing and it is our new favorite lens. you can take some amazing photos with it , can;t wait for the repkacement to arrive

An amazing lens: It's the widest FF/FX zoom around. Unfortunately some of the optical qualities leave you wanting. Watch out esp. to shield the lens from any direct sun!
