yes the last 2 one is actually announced last year at photokina 08

they look promising.

for 2 of the new lenses it is for consumers who want upgrade from their kit lens but doesn't want to spend a lot of money. Good consider the economy is bad.

the 10-20mm must be better than the old version but can it compete with Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 ?

Typical, they do a new 10-20 just as I get the old one!

Hi Foo,

Good spot. Hope you don't mind but I've tidied up your initial post so that the first three links point to the official Sigma press releases (and not to a site that blocks links back to CameraLabs ;) ) and I've split the last link you gave into two parts, each now pointing to the Sigma USA product page. As Enche rightly says, these lenses were announced last year so the "news" is that they are only now becoming available.
